Peachtree Corners is Gwinnett's largest city and one of its youngest, incorporated in 2012 around a neighbourhood pattern laid down decades earlier. That gap is the whole story for a builder: excellent, mature, wooded lots carrying houses designed for how families lived in 1978.
Working on a house from the seventies or eighties means the surprises are behind the drywall: wiring, plumbing, insulation and framing details that were normal then and are not acceptable now.
